Hi Evan,
Thanks for the feedback. You are absolutely right that we should have the country of origin for each bean visible on the website and not just the packaging.
We have now updated all our single origin coffees so the country of origin is displayed in the product description online. Our Burning Mine and Sundew Decaf are the only blends that we have in the range.

I enjoy a different coffee flavour each day of the week, and I have my favourites, Colombian and Papua New Guinean probably top of the list.

Of the three varieties I buy from Kawatiri – Burning Mine, Kahurangi and Paparoa – none have their source identified, although I know BM is a blend. As Kawatiri knows, regional differences in coffee taste can be marked, and I think it would help customers to have identified where the beans are sourced.

I love a great black black coffee. And parcial to a splash of cream but if you can see through it it’s not strong enough 🙂

I brew in a pottery pot then sive. This is my favourite flavor capture 🙂

Gorgeous coffee which is a priority and checks all the boxes, organic as the coffee bean needs to be or you get more chemicals than coffee and fairtrade, also a must, plus local and family. I wouldn’t buy any other way. I’m trying a different one this order, so let’s see.

Love the coffee, been drinking your coffee for maybe 3 or 4 years.
Found it at Kaikoura New World – could not find any in ChCh.
So I always order directly.
Have ordered and given away gift packs to try and convert others.
One day I shall visit and savour the whole package.

Tried Mad Harry and the Sunrise one so far and we’re really loving it! Actually had Kawatiri coffee the first time at a campsite near the Pancake Rocks. Loved it so much, I had to ask what brand it is. Also, thank you for the fast delivery! 🙂

We’ve been enjoying this brew for a few years now – well balanced, punchy and with a lingering sweet finish. Excellent service, fast delivery – a must when I’ve just spooned the last of the coffee into the pot!

I’ve been drinking this for close to 15 years and it’s still really the only coffee I bother with- flavours are complex but no bitterness and great however you brew it. So happy we can still order online from the wonderful Tater and Buck, despite our slightly traitorous move to the east coast!
